My self summary...hmmm seemingly an easy question yet I sit here debating what to say about myself. I'll give it my best try. I am a guy in his mid twenties who has an amazing career/life but is missing one big thing...someone to share it with. I really enjoy live music and I enjoy traveling to see really great live music even more. The New Orleans Jazz Festival is one of my favorite vacation spots and I've gone several times.

I just recently bought a house in the suburbs. And although I would really love to own a bungalow or loft on the north side of Chicago, financially and logistically it made more sense to be here for now. I know some guys in the city tend to shy away from people who don't live in the city. C'mon... It's only a 45 minute drive!

I'm a witty bastard and a generally fun individual to be around. I watch the History Channel for fun, but am an enormous fan of So You Think You Can Dance. For the record, I cannot, in fact, dance, nor have I ever been guilty of thinking as such. I am a comedian through and through and have a joke for every situation, but I am fully capable of being serious, and I know the right time for it. I've been quoted as saying, "Let's get naked and listen to the Beatles" on more than one occasion. For the past couple of months, I've been putting together a rap battle competition at my home comedy club, just for fun; I know next to nothing about rap, and lack a significant supply of "street cred." I appreciate Nietzsche, but can't for the life of my figure out why he has random fits of sexism in the midst of otherwise unrelated thoughts. My favorite playwright is either Tom Stoppard or David Mamet, depending on my mood.

Well, I'm Richard. I'm 20 years old. I'm really laid back, and I enjoy the little things. I'm not a party-goer. I don't drink, smoke, or do any drugs. I like to be on the internet, play video games (mainly PC games), build computers, play board games, watch anime, movies, go bowling, make bonfires, food, etc. I'd like a girl who enjoys these things, and would prefer cuddling at home watching a movie rather than going out and being the life of the party. I'm currently at CLC in Grayslake and I'm getting a degree in Music Education to be a teacher.
